ALright, I know there is a topic for keyquest down there...but people seem to have forgotten about it. Anyway, if anyone has played keyquest or has an opinion on it this is the place.
I like it okay. I always get a bit bored with board games (of the virtual kind. not the real kind). They move a bit slowly, and even when there are minigames (keyquest has them, but you could go all game without one since they must be "activated") it does little to break up the monotony. I have yet to get a power up to work correctly, so always miss my turn when I try. The prizes once you finish are pretty good. You get 1-2k neopoints (average) and a key according to your place. (I have only gotten silver keys and I have only ever played with one other person) Using a key gives you prizes. FOur prizes wiht gold and decreasing by one each to silver, bronze, and gray. (and the prizes I've gotten were pretty good)

I think these are actually pretty cool. They resemble Tiki Homes a bit (a good thing for them), and are fun to play with, (also good for them). I just wish that you got more floorspace...(how am I supposed to fit four bedrooms a dining room/kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room into THAT little house. a second story would fix this)

Guilds used to be my favourite part of Neopets! But when I checked out the guilds board today I was totally baffled. Its always been a sort of trashy place, but I could barely understand some of the things they were advertising.

Anyone who has played neopets recently knows all about keyquest. It's going to be out soon (what is it, a couple months?) and it seems like it's going to be a major addition to the site, involving new ways to earn neopoints and items, and of course, new ways to spend money on the site. So, how do you think it will change the every day neopian experience? Will it change the current direction of the site (whether good or bad) or will neopets stay the same, with just an another added feature. Will it help or hurt its traffic?

Did anybody play neopets when it was first released? I think the site back then was much better than it is now, everything was laid out neatly so you could navigate around the site easier and I think now if you have just joined you are too overwhelmed by features.

Is Neo still cool? Was it ever? Did the purchase of it by Viacom turn it into a giant cash extortion monster? Personally, I always enjoyed Neo and have remained true to that to this day. It was the first of it's kind back in the day and was a nice change of pace from other boring sites. Remember way back when? Neo started in 99... There was nothing to do on the net. The majority of the world was still on Dial-Up! The big tech news on CNN was about the latest pop-up blocker service.
The sale of the site made for some pretty heavy changes... The management is completely different now, A&D have long gone, and only a few of the original artists are still there. It still doesn't jade Neo for me. I give it a thumbs up for being first. I hope that they maintain the tongue and cheek humor that made them what they are today. Via la asparagus.

I programmed the first version of Meerca Chase when I first started at Neo. Since I left years ago, they've reprogrammed it a couple of times but, at least, they kept the quirky little tidbits that made it interesting.
Does anyone remember when clicking the invisible button in the right hand corner would give you only fish neggs? Errm, yeah, that was a bug. :)
