The whyville review didn't come out too... how does one say... favorably?
Erm, but it WAS accurate. That place sucks! The screenshots are evidence in themselves! I would never spend time there.
wasthat the one with the crackhead? Yeah, that's one I'm not going to try.
The art is terribly bad. And the 'half torso' is bad idea. The 'people' looks as if they were buried in the sand/ground. the community is bad and the art is bad. Why did you review this, and where did you heard /find out about this site?
Roy, they clearly reviewed it to warn us off of it. If reviews were only given for good things, we would all be clueless. ![]()
Haha, Emmy, right! Because that site is a shame to humanity. Half-torsos? What the hell?
Whyville has a terrible design, I don't know what its features are like though but it doesn't look like they will make up for they layout and graphics!
I don't think this has much to do with creating virtual pet sites Roy, if people have new ideas that haven't been used before then the site will be successful. It's just the attitude that everyone wants to make their own pet site but there is nothing new in them from others that are already out which makes them look bad and gives creating a "new petsite" a bad reputation.
"if people have new ideas that haven't been used before then the site will be successful."
Depending on the idea -- some haven't gone over well, and some are disregarded because of the site releasing it. ^^
From what I saw, Whyville's population was a lot like neo's - the 'kid friendliness.' >_>" But that's just me.
As a previous member from when I was younger, it was extremely stupid. Community is bad, and made for children around the age of 10. Another negative is the clothes the "avatars" get to wear, are made by other members. The money currency is LAME. "Clams" c'mon now. Why-Ville... "WHY!?!?!"
lol.

Agreed!
